im not going for the camp afterall.. =(

After so many days of no news and updates, i called the office after my friend gave me the no. and turned out that nat and my name isnt on the list. They had too many volunteers this round so she asked me to join them for the next camp.. so so sad..

OH wells. But i still thank God that He made me well so fast. Im still having Flu though. and thats about it, with occassional coughs. Perhaps with this illness, i had ample rest. Or rather, alot of rest. Haha. Sigh.

Anyway, had dinner with Karen and the other girls. Will post up more pics another time. really lazy to upload the pics. Heh. Ice cream nearly killed me.

yesterday was definitely the slackiest time of my life. i slept from 1plus till 7pm after taking my medicine. woke up for dinner and tv. And slept from 11plus till 9plus the next morning. A majoirty of my time was spent in bed sleeping. =)

With all the rest, i hope that all my illness would Be GONE. shoooo.

i didnt manage to go to any of the places i planned to go today. hurhur. cos im sick! i measured myself 37.7 degrees. sigh. thats alittle high yea..

Pray that i'll be up and running by tmr! so that i can attend the trybe camp on friday. Initially when i realised that the camp would be frm 30th mar to 1st apr, i was struggling to make a decision. Definitely, when nat told me the camp is on the 1st apr, i was relieved. Because then my bday would be over. But then she was wrong. the camp starts on 30th! But even as i was praying and reading a book, i felt something tugging my heart that i should go for this camp. At least, i would do something special on my 19th bday. Something extraordinary, something that would bless other people as i go for this camp.

* haha im not saying this to tell everyone about my bday but just sharing my thoughts on gg for the camp. Heehee. alrights. maybe i shldnt go to work tmr too so that i can have a better rest. im gg to take a nap now, my medicine is taking effect ! yay.

ahh. i fell sick.

wasnt feeling that well in the morning so i didnt go to work. Thought its just a cough but my body felt a little ache. was fine .. but i went to measure my temp at night and realised it was 37.6degrees. slight fever. SIGH. pray that i'll be fine soon! i took some medicine. maybe i'll jst go rest earlier tonight.

Happy Birthday to ME. haha nonooo. its not my actual bdayy but my Baptism 2 years ago.

taken on 26th March 2005, Saturday at Touch Community Theatre. It hasn't been an easy journey, but no one ever said its going to be easy. But even as i look back through the 4 years, since 19th July 2003 i don't think i ever regretted going there. I shudder to think what would I become if not for the first step someone took. =D

time check : 7.50am it was storming outside. i heard thunders and reckon the sky was pretty dark. such a good time to sleep in on a monday morning. i nearly didnt wanna go to work. but eventually i dragged myself out of bed still. work at 11. all the way from 11 till 1pm there's no one except Karen and another girl ! thats how empty it is. i told karen some of them must be sleeping in on a monday morning. haha oh wells, the sky looked gloomy today. lunched - back to office and worked till 5. Ahh. thats abt my work. Home-d. then i went jogging again! haha yay. i love this weekly running routine. haha. i think i ran about more than 5km i suppose. thats good thats good. and no, i didnt go for oily stuff this time rd. had noodles and FRUITS. hurhur! so healthy right.. =D so satisfied with the run.. can also train for the 10km runs i intend to join .. yay-ness.! so coincidentally, im gg sentosa on wed ! Karen is also gg on wed. and the two of us were so excited at the office this morning when we realised that. HAHA. Speaking of that, it reminds me of sth.

dinner was good..

yummy chilli crab. had a sumptuous dinner.. im feeling so full. yet confused. hurhur. no one ever said life's gg to be smooth sailing. Today's sermon talks about having peace with God. Even if u cannot get along with a colleague/friend or whoever, it is not that person's fault. It is because you dont have the peace of God.. I like the illustration pastor used, Jesus being the peace child in some 3rd world countries.. when different tribes have misunderstandings, one of the tribe leader presented his youngest son as a peace child. so long as the child lives, the two tribes are at peace with each other.

anyway i went over to watch last week's sermon once again.. it talks abt relationships.. you can catch it here ..

had cell today, and after tt we went over to Sentosa cos they are having a staff preview for one of the new attractions called " Song of the Sea ". Its really nice, the water and the lightings.. all so so beautifully done. i didnt take much pics of the show, i think they dont allow flash photography for that show cos they are doing filming. but i managed to get some pics while at the sentosa express station. cos it overlooks the area!

so after sentosa, we went back to Vivo. Cos its sweltering hot at sentosa! wanted Haagen Dasz but full house. so we settled for Bravissmo Ice cream and went to the rooftop to sit ard and talk. Left abt 11, when the sky seem to turn orange cos its gg to rain. It was also then that the wind was so big and so cooling.. but it got kinda cold at some pt of time. =P anyway had fun jst talking la. so funny. haha!

this week i worked only twoooo days.

ahh ytd had to re-start the engine of working once again. i felt quite tiredd out. anyway, she asked me to go and meet a client to get her to counter-sign sth. so all the way i went to Yew Tee. back to harbourfront - food republic for dinner. Music and Lyrics movie next. Its a very nice show! funny and nice. and the song inside is niceee. its the song playing in my blog. hurhur.. =D Toast box after movie. haha. eat and eat and eat.

today, i overslept! so i went to work at 11 instead of 10. bought bubble tea agn after lunch! very nice. not exactly bubble tea. Ice Lemon Tea with Aloe Vera. =D teehee. im gg sentosa for a preview of a new attraction ! HAHA lalala. yay!

oo. and the Banana split lotion which i ordered a mth ago arrived ! it smells quite banana-ish. but a little like cough mixture. ahh. oh wells. haha! i like moisturizers and hand lotions and all these kind of things. but i dont like it if it has a very sweet smell. haha! i still love Guess perfume. It has a sweet smell but nt medicine like. =D hoho.

Installing Love

Tech Support: Yes, ... how can I help you?

Customer: Well, after much consideration, I've decided to install Love. Can you guide me through the process?

Tech Support: Yes. I can help you. Are you ready to proceed?

Customer: Well, I'm not very technical, but I think I'm ready. What do I do first?

Tech Support: The first step is to open your Heart. Have you located your Heart?

Customer: Yes, but there are several other programs running now. Is it okay to install Love while they are running?

Tech Support: What programs are running ?

Customer: Let's see, I have Past Hurt, Low Self-Esteem, Grudge and Resentment running right now.

Tech Support: No problem, Love will gradually erase Past Hurt from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory but it will no longer disrupt other programs. Love will eventually override Low Self-Esteem with a module of its own called High Self-Esteem. However, you have to completely turn off Grudge and Resentment. Those programs prevent Love from being properly installed. Can you turn those off ?

Customer: I don't know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?

Tech Support: With pleasure. Go to your start menu and invoke Forgiveness. Do this as many times as necessary until Grudge and Resentment have been completely erased.

Customer: Okay, done! Love has started installing itself. Is that normal?

Tech Support: Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need to begin connecting to other Hearts in order to get the upgrades.

Customer: Oops! I have an error message already. It says, "Error - Program not run on external components." What should I do?

Tech Support: Don't worry. It means that the Love program is set up to run on Internal Hearts, but has not yet been run on your Heart. In non-technical terms, it simply means you have to Love yourself before you can Love others.

Customer: So, what should I do?

Tech Support: Pull down Self-Acceptance; then click on the following files: Forgive-Self; Realize Your Worth; and Acknowledge your Limitations.

Customer: Okay, done.

Tech Support: Now, copy them to the "My Heart" directory. The system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching faulty programming. Also, you need to delete Verbose Self-Criticism from all directories and empty your Recycle Bin to make sure it is completely gone and never comes back.

Customer: Got it. Hey! My heart is filling up with new files. Smile is playing on my monitor and Peace and Contentment are copying themselves all over My Heart. Is this normal?

Tech Support: Sometimes. For others it takes awhile, but eventually everything gets it at the proper time. So Love is installed and running. One more thing before we hang up. Love is Freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everyone you meet. They will in turn share it with others and return some cool modules back to you.

Customer: Thank you, God.

i didnt go to work today. this is the third day. my manager asked me to report at 230pm today but at 12 she msged me asking me not to come today cos she cant make it back on time. haha! this is the third day of the week that im on leave. but counting the weekend, this is the 6th day im nt working alr. such a long break. i think the engine has cool-ed a little.

oh and i went jogging ytd with nat! haha. its a short lil run.. oh wells. hahah! and guess what, we we jogged to ghim moh and walked over to Holland V for dinner. and we had....... LAKSA and SATAY. many people wld say might as well dont run right .. but after running we lost the calories and ate the food. so it equals out. but if we eat it without running, then we will have added calories! Ahh, at least this reasoning sounds much nicer. haha! i realised when i look at my pictures i feel that my face is chubbier. Is that true, is that true ?! HAHA. but i dont care.

Currently, i feel so nice to be at home. On monday i led a super relaxed lifestyle ( afterall its my first day at home aft being out for so many days .. ) reading a book. i suddenly had the urge and craving to read. =D and i selected my class for the nxt sem ytd. what a stressful adventure to sit by the com waiting for the registration to open. ahhh. and i kind of regret that i didnt opt for the 6mths IAP. rather because i dont know what kind of company they will post me to and im afraid that the weightage is very high and i may not score well for it. but oh wells. Despite all these regrets i believe God will turn my mistake into a miracle..

im back from G12 conference!! its so so so empowering. I know, i went there with neither unwilling nor very excited about it but i still came back with a da shou huo. " big returns." Even as the years goes by, i recieved more from each conference..( this is the 3rd conf. i went to.. ) hmm. and the sermon by Ps Cesar on Sunday was good. He touched on topics of relationship. The idea of marriage is not to make your other half happy, but to bring up another godly generation. Oh and i helped out in the Hospitality Team as a frontliner on sunday! its so sweltering hot in the sun although there's an umbrella but the vest we wore is thick. My second time serving, but first time was as an usher inside Hall 10. But, at the end of the day when you see people reciprocating your efforts and smile back at you, everything is worth it.

This is called, being a blessing. HAHA.

Whee! i really really really thank God for my results. =D woke up in the morning .. wanted to charge my Ipod when karen msg-ed me that results are out.. so i couldnt wait for the sms to come, so i went online and foundddddd...

what is it like when your hp is going a little crazy that it just auto shuts down and unable to send out msges on the first try.. you have to try and re-try before it goes out. (mind that i jst sent my phone for repair during CNY period) .. and when you're home you realise that your last pair of contact lens is without any markings that you dont know which of the pair is for which side .. jst because your maid throws away the box with the markings because she says that the place is messy.. ( well previously it has two boxes, one box for each side .. cos i bought the 6mths one.. so she combined all the other time. NVM la. cos i still got one reading on that one remaining box.. but now, she threw away the remaining box just cos it has two containers left inside .. ) im speechless.

and on msn, suddenly people tell you that you're appearing offline. apparently it has some problems.. so how....

results are gg to be released tmr .. i wonder how is my results gg to be ..

yay. went through a rather fruitful week ..

i bought a creative webcam and Ipod video 30Gb from the IT fair last week. =D happy happy. hurhur. have fun playing with the webcam.. haha!

anyway, i went for rock climbing at yishun safra last sat. an event organised by YCYPAO.. its funnnn! but i think i need to train abit of my arm power first if nt i dont have enough strength..

and, i went to the NATIONAL MUSUEM today! it was really cool la. after they renovated.. and i really mean COOL. we saw Fiona Xie at the entrance.. filming something .. teeheehee. and Haagen Dasz at Raffles City after the musuem trip.. yummylicious.

oh anyway, jst read a story frm Jonathan's blog. though its a story ive read before in emails but i wld just like to post it here..

Once upon a time, there was a pastor who brought an empty bird cage to the sermon.After receiving puzzled looks, he explained.A day earlier he was walking down town when he saw this boy with 3 little birds running down the street.

The pastor stopped the boy and asked hey what are you going to do with them? The boy told him that, he wanted to taunt them, tease them, pluck out their feathers, beat them and amuse himself. The pastor then asked the boy, what did he intend to do with them afterwards. The boy said that he might have a few cats that would love to feed on the helpless birds.

The pastor was horrified and asked the boy how much were the birds. The boy look at the pastor as thought he was mad and asked for $10. As soon as the money was in his hands, the boy was gone.

Satan met Jesus one day. Satan was carrying many souls of man in a cage. Jesus asked Satan what are you to do with them? Satan said with glee, I'm going to teach them to marry for the wrong reasons, get divorced, commit adultery, hate each other, murder others and destroy their own kind!
And after that what will you do with them?

Satan shouted with the most contempt, "Kill Them!" Jesus was horrified and asked Satan, how much for their lives? Satan sneered at Jesus, are you sure you want them, they will still hate you and hurt you. Jesus continued and asked Satan to quote his price. Satan then laughed and said "Your life!"

"Jesus paid his life, to save our souls" said the pastor. In the same way, I saved these bird's lives and let them go under a nearby tree. Thus you see, the empty cage.

started work ytd. was alright. im working as a personal assistant to an agent. hurhur. but oh wells. at least karen is working with me so not so bad.. HAHA.

and i jst realised, that all my jobs or working experience so far is near bugis/town area. First was at adroit where its near dhoby ghaut/bugis. Now, my work place is at bugis. HAHA. which essentially means i will always be so near to shopping areas after work.

sth interesting happened at work today. i felt the tremors of the sumatra earthquake at work. it happened twice but the first time, i guess i wasnt in the office yet. was out for lunch. the second time i was doing my work when it happened. it really swayed la. first time i experienced something like that ..
