Was supposed to go training for the temp job i took up at a bank at 940am. Read training. It was supposed to end at 12noon. I left home an hr earlier cos im not too sure where is it, just in case i got lost and am late. In the end, i found the place like almost very easily, and was very early. Reached at about 920.

Saw Cindy, my pjc classmate during the PAE period.

The BRIEFING started at 10am. they called it the briefing. True to its root word, its a brief meeting just telling us what to do and stuff, it ended in less than 15 minutes. Thanks.

So i went home first before gg down to YCK to meet the girls. Went to Pauljean's place and its my first time going there despite her opening her house two to three times already. Its a nice place. haha.

And they were sweet to surprise me with a birthday cake. Sorry i dont have the pictures cos its with PJ.

I wanted to leave already and they were still playing mahjong. Then pj asked me to take over her while she go toilet. Halfway through the game, she came upstairs with the cake. Thanks girls. =)

Caught Vantage point at night. The movie plot is rather interesting but i dont really like the flow though ..

Results were released last Friday. I would admit that i'm a tad disappointed with my results though. There is no one i can put the blame on. Its true.

I think this time round i went for the papers without Him. Anyhow, i'm kinda confused between local uni, private uni or maybe even going overseas. Somehow in me i know i gotta sit down seriously to think about such issues but another part of me just refuses to face reality.

I'm far from being an intrapersonal. Something else is burdening me more than my education.

Im back from bangkok!

IBSM 2008 Bangkok. Yeah baby.

The shopping there is rather, fantastic. I mean somehow you just go crazy over the prices rather than the clothes itself sometimes. Its almost about 8-12 Sing dollars for a dress ?! Okay fine it isnt that cheap either but just compare to clothes you get in Singapore and you will agree with me. Apparels which are gotten from bangkok and you get them in singapore will cost u like 30, 40 Sing dollars.

So sometimes perhaps you just buy cos its cheap la. waste money.

I'd also prefer that sometimes people would be more punctual. A group of 11 is considered big to me, that's why sometimes we end up waiting for each another. It is good to remember that you are not only wasting your time, but also other people's. At least try to keep to the timing that we've agreed to meet. People will understand you are being held back because of traffic jams and all but prolly you could have left the place earlier so that you would be on time. No, i'm not pointing fingers at anyone..

On the first day..
On the planeee ! The start of just pure enjoyment ..

the taxis are either in pink, yellow and green or blue. Funnily, the pink taxis are the most amusing ones. I saw one with a spoiler and it really looks more like an ah beng car in Singapore than a taxi, in Bangkok.

The tuk-tuks. They are really cute la, but its not good because we are always taking in what the cars are releasing! They travel on the roads too. Its almost the same experience that i had when i took the trishaw in Vietnam, but this one is much faster cos it can be considered a motor vehicle.

The alley nearby our hotel that leads to the shopping paradise.. haha

The hotel's entrance. It looks kinda grand huh.

Shopping at platinum mall was great! Daisy and i covered about 3 levels in 3 hours. That's considered fast already due to time constraints. =(

We wanted to take a tuk-tuk to Chinatown for seafood dinner at about 6pm Thailand time, but all drivers refuse to bring us there cos of the traffic jam during rush hour. This tuk-tuk promised to bring us there but end up bringing us to TWO different seafood restaurants nearby. obviously, they do get commissions from it but its so darn expensive to eat there. We got upset and asked to be sent back to the hotel.

Decided to settle for something simpler, and went to this coffeeshop near the hotel.

Lemon tea served in tin mugs. So old school but i like ..

What are they looking at ?

Ahh.. its the tom yum soup. They seriously taste absolutely DELICIOUS. i just wish for more right now ..

After dinner we packed some mango glutinous rice .. and they are good.

This looks like a cockroach. Fried one. The seller was first mixing and mashing up everything in a large bowl and then she took this thing and dont know plucked what off and added this into the mixing bowl. Quite sick and all of us were crowding round the stall and going " oh my god .. " and the stall owner laughed at us.

Probably the customers there were also laughing at us for being so amazed or, rather disgusted at what was being added into the mixture of i dont know what food she was preparing.

Back to hotel to get changed and then to Twisted club. They have free bar and free entry from i forgot wad time! So, we've got free housepours!

And the flaming lamborghini is cheap there. At like, $16 compared to Singapore's clubs. So they ordered and ordered.. i think 6 in total.. muahaha .. and see george's wide smile. heh.

The second day was shopping too! This time, we just walked around on our own and meet back at the hotel at a specific time. Me and Daisy just wandered off from MBK to Siam Square, Siam Paragon and Siam Center. They are so confusing lah.

Went to Naraya at Asia Hotel cos i dont know where else do they have it. So attracted to their stuffs cos they are nice yet quite cheap! Oh my goodness.

So i end up getting myself two bags, one sunglasses pouch which its a lil small, and some storage cases.

So we headed to Central mall, and guess what. I saw the main branch of Naraya there and when i went in, they have SO MUCH more stock. even for things which i wanted to buy at the Asia hotel branch which ran out of stock, they have it there!

i could have gone crazy. i saw a bag exactly the same as the one in brown above, but this one is in gold. I love it, and its like less than 10 sing dollars. wanted to get it so much! But i decided to think about it cos i spent quite a bit over at Asia hotel's branch. To my dismay when i went back the next day, its GONE. =( literally, Out Of Stock.

So went back to hotel and had dinner some where nearby and our driver whom we found him earlier this morning to fetch us around in his van, brought us to patpong at night after watching the tiger show.

See, i dont know wats this but its all like insects. its damn sick.

Oh yes, at MBK earlier, we found this shop called Mister Donuts. their donuts are all so cute. ive got some pic in my phone which im lazy to upload. and they taste very good too!

We had supper at a roadside stall near our hotel. Fish ball nood soup, if you realised from the picture. heh. But its quite nice too. And, its super cheap. 25 baht. thats A DOLLAR!

So on the third day, we went to visit Grand Palace in the morning, or rather late morning.

if you noticed, they are all wearing the same thing, but in different colours. 3 blue, 3 white and 1 brown which ash is wearing.

This is our van!

Miniature of the entire grand palace structure.

One of the buildings..

I dont know this gate leads to where..

After Grand Palace, we split ways with the girls continuing their shopping sprees and the guys went to play paintball. i think it should be renamed to Painball instead cos they came back with bruises all over.

So me and daisy continued shopping at Platinum mall cos we still got some remaining levels yet to explore. They have more T SHIRTS! ahhhh.
The colour range of the fruits made with green bean paste inside.

The spoils for the third day! haha. I found collagen mask. lol.

And i've to talk about these water bottles. Nestle brand, and they are going at 7 baht each. Its like 30 cents? And better still, they are one-for-one. So essentially one bottle cost 15 cents ! ahhh.

On the last day we visited Chatuchak Market. Alot of things, but being low on cash forbids me to shop much so we just loitered around and went to look at the dogs which are so tiny and cute.

And we saw this girl and a guy, probably the grandfather or father singing and playing the guitar.

Lastly, the shop near our hotel also sells wonderful coffee! Too bad the blue mountain coffeebeans RAN OUT. =(

The last picture, onboard Tiger Airways back to singapore ..
Its been a flavourful trip. I can't wait to go back there again and i miss their tom yum soup badly..
