The week was pretty chaotic and busy. There were like 101 things that needed my attention.

I had a short odac meeting on friday late morning, and we took our lunch at Clementi market. I went over to Jurong Point to look at Swatch watches because i cannot decide on which watch to get. Finally decided on one and I made my way down to Junxiang's place cos he's celebrating his 21st. I left the place at about 12plus since I had school the next day.

A full day class of CF. Pascal's a french and his accent is abit funny at times.
Class ended at about 4.20pm and I went home before heading out to meet the smurfs for dinner at Villa Bali.

It was full house that day, lucky i made reservations on Monday! haha. There's a girl celebrating her 18th Birthday and a Solemnisation event going on that day. Moreover, Villa Bali is taking part in the Earth Hour thingy, so they switched off the lights at 8.30 till 9.30pm. We had a candle light dinner, and I really mean it. It's quite dark still and sometimes we cannot see what we are eating too.

The smurfs gave me my present in two parts. Part ONE is a necklace with a key pendant from Perlini Silver. Part TWO has yet to come. Thanks. (:

I cannot recall who was the one who suggested going DBL O after dinner. I couldn't say no to going there either. I think Annabel wanted her revenge. =X
I drove my car home before heading down in Nic's car.

We opened a bottle of Johnnie Walker. I would prefer Martell to that but it's more expensive. I've got school the next day I can't drink so much so my shots are mixed. :D
And I bumped into Ashley and Thierry there too. In actual fact, I was quite happy to see him as I've not talked to him for a very long time. As the birthday girl, I wasn't quite spared despite having classes the next day.

We left for home at about 1plus and Nic dropped some of us back. Surprisingly, I still managed to wake up at 8plus for my CF class.

I tried putting everything aside and to study today. I was successful for about an hour or two, and managed to cover about 2 chapters.

I always put my computer on Hibernate mode instead of shutting it down, and today was no exception. I hibernated it when I wanted to take my shower and when I came back, I couldn't connect it to the internet anymore.

My dear laptop simply loves to play such tricks on me. It's not the first time anymore. :(
I took out my dusty old laptop which Annabel returned to me about 2 months back and switched it on, and am amazed to find it working on such fast speeds. Previously it took me like at least 10 minutes for it to startup. Apparently I cannot connect it to the internet too.

My last resort was to use my father's laptop, and here I am typing away. It shows how much I'm dependent on technology.

I guess I've turned lazy again. :P

Friday

I met Elena at 3pm at Tangs cos she wanted the Hello Kitty Couture's compact casing but it was out of stock by the time we got there. We headed over to Suntec and I went for The Body Shop sale again and was amazed that there wasn't a queue at all. I bought the Strawberry Polish to stock up. :D I realised after I made my purchases that it was on sale at almost half price.

Met the rest of the Odac-ians afterwards for dinner and then bowling. I seem to have a thing for bowling once again. (for leisure of course, i'm not into competitive bowling too) But i have to say, that the lanes Marina Square's real bad. I prefer the one at Safra Mount Faber.

Some of us had supper at Bukit Merah's Yong Tau Foo and Eric dropped us home after that. Thanks! (:

Saturday

It's the smurfs' outing to celebrate Annabel's 21st. It was dinner at this Italian cum Jap restaurant at Liang Court followed by Double O. The birthday girl was made to drink so much that Merlion shifted to double O that day. Pictures are up on facebook.

Sunday

I'm a happy girl when I laid my hands on the pair of River Island Jeans. (:
There's an ongoing promotion - 15% off your bill if you use NETS to pay when you spend above $100. After discount, my jeans cost $102.

Anyway, these two days I stayed home to study. I wouldn't say its fruitful neither would I deem it unproductive. My mind's preoccupied with much stuff, but I think they won't be as important if placed beside studies. Finally, I've settled on some stuff and hopefull everything will fall into place soon.

Happy 21st Birthday, BEL.
You're an adult now.
May you rule the world,
Find your Raymond Lam soon.

Believe it or not, she used to be my "enemy" in sec 1. (:

So yesterday (11th March) I went for The Body Shop Sale at suntec with elena. I reached suntec alittle after 11.30 and when I went in, I saw a horrendously long queue that snaked around the centre of the exhibition hall. I was wondering what are people queuing for, and it was only after I met Elena and she told me they're queuing up to PAY. Nice.

The crowd was crazy, and I can't squeeze my way in to look at the stuffs because you really have to squeeze your way through. I was standing behind the crowd trying to figure a way to get in when this lady literally used her arms to push me away. I really cannot stand such crowds, and I'm a little afraid.

There were travel sized products going at 5 for $10. I was browsing through the selections when I heard this guy telling the salesgirl that he wanted all flavours in xx amount EACH. (xx amount because I cant remember what. But its definitely ALOT.)

While queuing up to pay, I saw that guy with another lady sitting on the floor in the centre counting their stocks. I wonder if they really need that huge amount of shower gels etc or they're going to sell outside. It's just my own assumptions anyway.

The best part of the whole sale is, I queued up for 2.5 hours just to pay for my purchases. Thus, you can imagine the crowd and the snaking queue. Somehow the goods seemed cheap to alot of customers as I looked around, everyone's shopping bag is very full. As though everything is free. I thought now recession ? hurhur!

I bought a total of $35 worth of goods and we headed to Soup Spoon for our lunch. It was 2.30pm when I left the hall. After lunch we went over to Esplanade Library to study and there was this weird guy who kept staring at us. When I stared back at him, he just walked away and after awhile turned back again. I continued staring at him until he went to hide behind some book shelves and appearing again pretending to read a book. I stared at him again but it doesn't work. After awhile he literally stared at us again and stood there with his hands on his hips, like a statue for quite some time.

We decided to ignore him and continued with our studying. He probably got tired after awhile and disappeared.

I'm being bogged down by so many matters on hand. Something I've been pushing aside for quite some time and now I need to deal with it.

I was contemplating to skip CF paper today but I went in the end, despite knowing that I can probably do none of it and my predictions came true. I sat there looking at the questions for half an hr, and although i know what are they asking but I cannot recall the formulas. (Some i studied way back but it was too long ago that I've forgotten.) I spent the next half hr looking around and making some plans mentally.

When the digital clock turns 11, I think at the very least a good 1/10 of the entire hall left. I left subsequently and headed to the library to wait for the rest to finish and to check on my email. I left with Peifen to meet Elena in town to catch "He's just not that into you." It's a totally chick flick but I guess it's still nice in its own way.

I got the quotation from Essential Brew today and I was taken aback by the astronomical figure that was in the Excel Sheet. (Okay, I might be a little exaggerating here but the real figure is $2548.70) It is way out of my budget. Finally I narrowed my options down to the last two. We shall see how things go.

I got a light bulb to hang at the window yesterday, so that my study area will be more brightly lit. I was all set and ready to study the whole of today at home. I used to study like that in Poly Year 1 and 2.

Early in the morning at about 9plus, the drilling sound woke me up and at the same time, i received an sms from ML if i'm going school to study today. I thought someone upstairs or downstairs was doing some short drilling so i replied him that I'm going to stay at home to study.
Then it dawned on me that my neighbour just sold his house and the drilling could be from the unit opposite mine doing renovations.

True enough, the drilling went on and on and on... I had no choice but to study in school. =X
Of all times, the renovations had to be done now. I'll need to seek somewhere else to study during the day now.

Great.

(: (: (:

I got the Omnia Red yesterday and everything's going fine so far. I'm starting to adore certain shades of red now. I encountered some problems transferring my contacts from my old SE to Omnia. Thus I was at Starhub for a pretty long time trying to fix the problem. When everything's done I forgot to remove my memory card from the old phone as I traded in my phone. =(

There's no important documents there but I've lost all my pictures. I feel for the loss.

I caught Slumdog Millionaire on Friday night and I would say it's a pretty decent film but not one that makes me go "wow" after the show. I really liked the initial part of the film where they portray the living conditions in the slums.

AND I was browsing through River Island and saw a few pairs of Jeans that I liked. It's cheaper than Levis but still expensive. Sigh. So many wants! I'll need to start on a major saving project.

Off to study CF now!

I have zilch motivation to study right now.

Well I was supposed to study at Woodlands Library today but decided not to in the end. Home has too much distractions to study. Besides since Poly Year 3 I somehow forgotten how to study, unlike those times when I was in Year 1 and 2.

I finally finished watching The Little Nyonya. (:
I shouldn't have started watching the show in the first place because then I cannot stop watching and it's a good thing that I've finished the show. Now i can concentrate on other things.

And yes you are right, I didn't study at home today afterall.

@ 12:56 AM

I nearly got a Samsung Omnia last Sunday. I'm still contemplating whether to get it or not or wait for Starhub to release iPhone, of which the date is still unknown. I'm able to get the Omnia at 200plus but I know Samsung's resale value isn't very good. sooooooo. mmmm....

During the last weekend I was catching Little Nyonya online, the two whole days and didn't study much. I made a blunder on Monday during the POA prelims. I so much wanted to laugh at myself after I realised my mistake.

Today I was in school early in the morning to study for Macro paper in the afternoon when our VP led the pack to the entrance of the library and tempted me with movie/MJ. I was very tempted to do skip the paper but I didn't do so in the end. I wanted to see my own standard for those topics which I've studied for.

I wouldn't say I regretted going there but i could only do less than half the paper and I feel that my answers are all similar. I tried to write as much as I can, draw as big as I can so that I can fill more pages. An attempt for my paper to be marked. I don't wanna go for a paper and end up not being marked. That wastes more of my time.

I headed over to Jurong Point to look for them after I left the exam hall at 430, and then took a cab back home with the rest because of some miscommunications and they all came over to my place for mj/cards. They helped me "locate" the lucky spot in my house! It's a fun day home with the odac-ians and our much needed breaks in case we get burnt out from all the stardeee-ing. (:

After so much breaks, it's time to hit the books yet again. Now, I'm going to concentrate on Corporate Finance. AH and I've got no idea what to do for my birthday. HAHA.
