I love to have outings with people. No matter where you go, its the company that really matters.

We went to Tuas area in the afternoon as James wanted to scrape off the burnt plastic under his car. I love to go car workshops cos it is so cool and interesting. After that we just slacked around AMK hub with malcolm, before i head home to join the Vietnam gang for dinner at Botak Jones.

Yummy dinner coupled with yummy desserts at Island Creamery is the best combination. It was funny when deciding between going Bkk or phuket. After putting on those calories we headed for Lim Chu Kang area.

Interesting sights such as cooper's boot acted as spoiler; cars racing .. The ride back home on ash's bike was coooooool, except for the turning parts. heh.

isn't that cool ? But i'm going to turn into a phat pig soon if i dont start exercising.

The second day of the week was good. During our tax revision lecture, we were expecting guest speakers from an accounting firm. It was also the first time that i saw some of my classmates at the lecture itself. If i were the lecturer i think i would invite the speakers to speak at the start of the lecture and not have it after the revision lecture to ensure that the students attend. I think half the cohort at the lecture theatre left right after.

It was shopping at Chinatown. Yes, Chinatown. hurhur. I've found a few treasures and it was all good. I wanted to try to desserts at People's Park but it was closed when i went to the shop. Sadly, i had to make do with another shop which was not the popular one.

Being a nice person, i delivered cold/hot desserts to the people studying for their exams at Singapore Poly.

At Chinatown MRT control station..

Me: (Looking around for the pathway to walk to take the east-west train while Daisy entered the gantry) Eh.. how to take the train?

Elena: There, in front there can go down to the platform what ..

Me: Where? (Still looking around for the pathway..)

Daisy: Huh? Don't scare me leh, i come in already..

Me: .. huh? but in front is another gantry what .. how to walk ? where got go in then go out again?

Elena: Correct lah.. Just go in .. walk straight then there got escalator.

Me: (Tapped my ez-link card to enter but dont know how to actually get to the east-west line train platform) But how to walk to the East-West line there ?

Daisy: But we are at CHINATOWN leh.

Me: Oh. i thought we were at Outram.

hurhur. Such a comical blunder.

And i am getting so phat. Ate my dessert at SP while waiting for them to study. Suppered - Yong Tau Foo at Bt Merah View and Lemon Tea. I feel so bloated and felt like puking after that .. i think i must sleep at 6am to let my food digest first. ahhhh.

I'm so overwhelmed with feelings. I'm missing so many things, feeling so unrelectuctant to let them go.

wah thanks. The day started with IBS networking assessment. I am sure i had my thoughts arranged in my head after i saw what was my given topic. However, there was a hole in my brains and everything kind of leaked out leaving me almost blank with what to say.

After that was a complimentary customised skin treatment at New York Skin Solution! heh. Thanks to karen. I kind of hate facials because they are always so painful when they squeeze this and that but i love it when they applied the mask which was so cooling. My face felt clean after that but i had to go home to take a shower before heading down to the same old usual place, for dinner at EDDIE there. Amusingly, that coffeeshop somehow becomes known as "eddie there".

We talked, and seriously very entertaining each time despite we talking about certain things over and over again. That dinner was also to welcome Vannessa back from her 3 months stint in Maldives. I wish i had a chance to go there toooooo! heh.

Met up with some of the girls later for coffee at TCC after that. It was a good time, and i really really wanna go Hong Kong again! I miss their food..

Today is a day where many 16/17 years old people received their O's results. Be it good or bad, its the results of what you have sown. Congrats to those who have done well. It's been years since i received my O's results.

That day was filled with i dont know what, Joy, Sadness or whatsoever. My results were not that fantastic enough for me to enter a good JC with a good combination. That is how i sort of ended up with a poly education. Moreover, i didn't entirely enjoy my days in PJC during the first 3 months. i thought school was tiring, perhaps i didnt have the motivation to study since in my mind it was the provisional period.

Anyhow was utterly clueless upon which course to choose. I vaguely remember what were my other choices other than the first 3 which were Chemical engineering related courses. Thank God, i put banking and financial services as my 4th and amazingly i got it.

Haha i was disappointed initially but after all these years i definitely am glad that i didnt get into the first 3 choices or i will suffer terribly there. I'd do a banking course anytime now. In looking back my 3 years in Ngee Ann, i really had many regrets in not doing some things like joining some CCA or whatever. I felt like i was such an anti-social person where i just go school for classes and say bye after that and head home.

The only "school-event" i attended was the IBSM. It brightened up my days in school and i got to know more people too. It was definitely fun, but we shall have to just leave the regrets behind and not think about it. Else, it will just make me feel sadder.

On a brighter note however, i was deciding a long time whether to dye my hair. I wanted so much to do sth about my dull and boring hair. I even contemplated perming, curling and cutting doll fringe! So today, I finally took the courage and opted to colour my hair, Violet. So see me in my new hair soon! heh.

I just love the effect. It becomes red under light. heehee. Nono, i don't look like an ah lian puhlease.

my standard chartered marathon certificate arrived today! =)

Im so proud of that certificate. haha. IT'S my own achievement lahhhhhh..

Anyhow, had a great time recently. I'm starting to miss doing work, all of a sudden. Okay, fine it will just be an emo entry if i continue writing about it. lol.

DBS came on monday and they had this FEP programme. Well no doubt it sounds attractive but i wanna have a try at local uni, really.

I dislike this period, because its also going to be the time to say bye-bye real soon. Of course, the super cliched sentence, we'll be friends forever.

Taken when i was in year 1, doing my first presentation. HURHUR. lol i laughed when i found this picture.
See, we've all grown up! =) Taken in year 3. lol. The unpretence and the level of comfort we have ..
And of course, as mentioned earlier: Friends Forever.

Its such a sweet saddening moment, literally. I wonder what its like to be my last day in school..

im so happy and so glad ..!

The sales call for IBS is finally over, and I'm really surprised that my new teacher is so friendly. Am so glad that i've survived this week cos everything is so packed.

Watch out for nxt week, i think after next week i'll have an easier time. But oh wells, that also mean one thing, im going to graduate in 49 days time..

Exam dates are out: 15, 16 and 22nd February! .. I dislike the 6 days break but no choice because im not taking one module cos of my vietnam trip last yr! =D

Anyhow, im going for the uni talk next thursdayyyy. hurhur..

My, 2007 went past in a flash as i recall the things that happened in the year. Much memories were left behind from the year. I admit that i wasn't that all hyped-up about celebrating and counting down for the year 2008 to arrive at all. In fact, it caught me by surprise how the last 10 mins for the year went passed when the screen showed the seconds left to 2008..

I don't know but somehow i don't feel excited about it, when everyone else around me is saying they can't wait for the year to arrive and thats when they will graduate and head on to army thereafter. (Thats for the guys) and, girls heading onto university or perhaps enter the workforce.

I feel tired of having to make new friends in a new environment when i've just settled down comfortably in my school right now. But i guess thats life that you got to make friends, everywhere you go. Sometimes i wish i am the noisier person who can just talk to any Tom Dick or Harry, but sadly God didn't make me this way, so i'll have to go by the other way round of making friends.

And then, the week of celebrations are gone! With Christmas, Countdown and all..

On the lighter note, took some peektures last nite..

Proceeded to Al ameen after that for .. supper/ morning breakfast at 2.30 am? I suppose we are really good at delaying time cos the event ended at .. about 1230 i guess. I cant remember what time was it when we left expo but i presume its about 1 plus. =P

All the food on the menu is basically beckoning you to order them when you are like famished. Ended up with a really huge order, and partly also due to our ignorance we ordered like 7 Naans for .. 5 persons. Its amusing how we thought the portion for each naan was. Its good anyway, start the year with abundance of food, though its actually really wasting food when we cannot finish it. haha.

and to sum it all, the first day of New Year is good. I had seafood for dinner at Ah Yat with the family.

And for the rest of the one mth or so, i'll still be doing my projects, mugging for exams before i decide what to do next when i really, GRADUATE. It seemed to be such a heavy word to me. haha!
