30th January 2009.

Happy Belated Birthday, Kylie.
Happy Birthday, Louis.

Today I woke up pretty early at about 830am; and it had been a busy day thereafter. Headed down to the photoshop to develop some photos. On my way back, I bought subway breakfast home. I don't know what offer do they have but I was given a complimentary cup of coffee. (:

I watched some hk drama while having my breakfast; and waiting for the photos to be developed. I recieved a call at about 1030 telling me that there's something wrong with the photos and I made another trip there to check things out. Came home and prepared everything before heading back to the photoshop yet again to collect the photos.

Headed to school and was busy all the way till about 4plus pm. Slacked around in school for awhile and then we made our way to Marina Square. It was raining cats and dogs when we left school. But thankfully we're well sheltered. (:

We had our dinner at Sakae Sushi - Louis' and Kylie's birthday celebration. We made reservation and thus was given a corner that's meant for people who wants to have bbq; but eventually it became our little corner that we occupied the entire night. I bet we made alot of noise and camwhored after dinner. There were a couple of people standing outside and shaking their heads while looking at us - for what reasons we do not know.

We all proceeded to Liquid Gold at Prinsep Place after dinner and had some drinks. It's been a really long time since i last drank. Probably about 29 days? The last time i had alcohol was in Kukup. For some weird reason I dont know why I offered to help Louis drink half of his cup of martell which eventually led to me feeling very heavy in the head thereafter. Sheila's bf came and fetched some of us home. Thank You! :P

Alot of you knew me when I wasn't really behaving myself. However so far I'm still keeping to my new year resolutions pretty well. You'll notice them soon enough, if you haven't noticed it by now. I came home and downed a glass of chinese tea; hoping that the throbbing headache that I am going through will clear. Anyway, sentosa outing's tmr and I wonder if i can wake up.

Pictures will be up another time. I'm feeling tired and sleepy.

P.S. Michelle it's time to stop dreaming, so please wake up right now.

Hellooo world.

I've finally updated my blogskin and changed it to a lighter background. Am in the mood for white now. (:

The long weekend was pretty much hectic for me and I'm pretty much worn out from the visitings, mj sessions and such. But it was fun nonetheless, with each passing day. Caught All's well Ends well 2009 on Tuesday night with the odac-ers and supper-ed at Lavender Food Centre and played abit of pool at Hougang plaza. I think I can't aim well now or whatever reason it is, I can't play as well anymore. Oh wells. Reached home at 6am and headed to bed.

When I woke up at 2pm, I received a text asking me if I wanna play mj. I was still feeling groggy and tired but I went; in my stony mode but somehow I was pretty lucky that day.

(:

The festive celebrations should stop soon and it's now time to concentrate on the prelims after the odac event. ANYHOW, i managed to get myself back into SIM's portal. I shall not be such a dork anymore and therefore, changed my password to something that i am able to remember and not some funny password, which i used previously! lol.

And, a primary school friend just tagged me on facebook and I think i looked so toot when I was younger. I nearly couldn't recognise myself and when I did, I nearly died. lol!

two-oh-oh-nine.

This year is an exceptionally exciting year. It's only January now and with so many ideas/plans going around I just can't wait too see them unfold itself. Some are happy occasions worth celebrating, some are periods that requires studying, some requires much planning but it always leaves me feel so satisfied with event end smoothly, and some requires sweat and more sweat!

Yesterday I just did something unbelieveable and that was to sign myself up for the adidas sundown marathon - 42km. I'm so very sure that I cannot commit much time to train because of the exams and its my first time running a full marathon. I almost died during standard chartered's 21km already. But probably let this 42km be a challenge for me the conquer as I turn 21 this year :P

After Chinese New year, it's time to study. Prelims are in end feb/early march and my exams start on 7th of May and end on the 21st of May. Till then!

Anyway I did something really stupid two days back and that was to lock myself out of SIM's portal. I can't remember my password and then I clicked forget password but I set my primary email to SIM's student mail which; I can't log in too. Great. Now i'll have to go to school and look for help.

Corporate Finance class was exceptionally crowded today for what reasons I am not sure. The funny thing was, the lecturer actually told the class before she let us off for break that there's going to be a spot check after that, and students who were not from that class should leave. The reason for it is that students who are from that class deserved to have a proper seat.

She's probably being kind because I think you've to pay a fine of $50plus if you are caught crashing other classes.

But i really wonder, why choose her class if you wanna crash for Corporate Finance? I would rather go for Johnny's.

Anyhow, recently i just downloaded Photoscape and am having fun experimenting it. (:

hurhurhur.

Exams are coming btw!

On Sunday, 18th January ...

We celebrated Joy's Birthday at Henderson Wave. It's my first time on that bridge but i've seen the bridge a couple of times before. It's really very windy and cool up there, considering how windy Singapore has been recently.

Had food, and much to odac's influence we cam-whored.

I personally like this peekture. (:

Anyway, wishing ALL JANUARY BABIES, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

So far, I've made deliberate attempts to study but I would say they are pretty fruitless at the end of the day. It's that bad. To be frank, i'm not having much of the festive season mood. I'm probably just looking forward to the money and the expected mahjong sessions.

Anyhow, Daryl celebrated his 21st birthday on 17th January at Aranda. As always, i have difficulty finding parking lots there when my friends are having a chalet. This time round, i chose to park at Ehub. To my surprise, the parking only costs me $3plus. There's once i parked on a friday night for about 3 hours plus and i was charged $7plus, much to my horror.

After that, headed over to Changi Airport to pick bel cos she's coming back after 4.5months being in China. And her loots took up 2 back passenger seats and Tian Xi squeezed with the barang barangs back to Bukit Merah View.

Angela's 21st

Pictures are up on Facebook. (:

Celebrated her birthday on the 4th - Sunday at Bukit Merah Macdonald's. It's a Macdonald's party! It definitely brings back memories when i was a child, I celebrated my 7th bday at macdonald's at the then ginza plaza.

I commented that this has got to be one of the easier parties the host had cos we're not like the rowdy kids where she might have to fight to get their attention.

Frog Porridge @ Geylang - 6th January; Tuesday

After class at 3pm, met up with some of the odac-ers to go RELC to pay school fees. A hefty $1752 for exam fees. =X
We headed over to Starbucks at Wheelock after that to do some "studying" cos there's still time before meeting the rest for frog porridge at geylang. The food was nice, but it's pretty expensive too. Odac outings are never cheap! Also met quite a few new faces at the dinner table.

Zhiren's 21st - 9th January

Caught Red Cliff 2 at The Cathay at 12.35am with Zhiren and gang. Zhiren - because it's to celebrate his 21st! haha. It's a really nice show, compared to part 1 where i remember almost the whole of OG2 fell asleep in the theatre because we were too tired out. We went there after we break camp at Ubin.

The show ended at about 3 and I left for home at about 3.30am. On the way home, unfortunate events happened which i shall not mention here, ask me if you want. (:

Hurried to bed, and woke up at 7am and made my way down to Yishun Safra for the Safra AvVentura volunteers briefing. The briefing ended unexpectedly earlier and thus, the odac-ers wanted to catch RED CLIFF 2 !!

So in the end, within a timespan of 24 hours, i caught RED CLIFF 2 twice. There's not much reception at Yishun GV. When we came out of the theatre, minglong and I received a text message from Junren that goes - "Hey, when is our Chi Bi outing ? " We all laughed, and replied him that " The war has ended". lol.

I went home and took a 2 hour nap. At night, met some of them at yishun to go Alvin's place cos we all had to be at yishun safra at 3.40am !

At the end of the Safra AvVentura, we were each given a GV movie money and a $10 world of sports voucher. Having not slept much, i slept at 9plus all the way till 1145am the next day. Was late for my class. -.-

Kukup - 31st dec; 1st Jan

Well, to start off Kukup was a really nice place. The fireworks was the main highlight. Other than that, it's good place for a short getaway. You stay in kelong styled cemented houses. However, there's no sewage so whatever that is discharged from the house goes straight to the sea (when it is high tide) and seabed (when it is low tide.)

We were greeted by a fishy stench once we alighted the bus but after awhile, you just get used to the smell. Tons and tons of housefly greeted us as we walked through the open spaced restaurant and we had special guest "diners" at our lunch.

On the first day of the year, we headed to City Square for some shopping after our lunch at Kukup and had our dinner at Kim Gary. I reached home at about 930pm that day.
