SaturdayAll plans were ruined initially.. I had school on a saturday afternoon! Yes, you didnt read wrongly. It was a make-up class cos the lecturer canceled a class earlier on. I wasn't that focused that day. and KAREN TAN, if you read this, i received the text after class! Probably earlier because i didn't have any reception on my mobile in the lecture theatre. My father came home with a piece of not-so-nice news which may just affect the mood at some kind of customary dinner my cousin is holding. She's getting married next month. It didn't end up that bad but my appetite just wasn't there, despite the fact that i only had a cheesecake and two small currypuffs that the school provided during our break for the whole day.Things to save the day: (1) Movie: Get-Smart. With Bel, Gabriel and Tianxi. The movie was funny, and exciting luh. (2) Went over to thomson for supper with bel and james. Yes, the birthday boy but i couldn't attend the celebration but that's besides the point! Something happened when we are about to finish our food. A fight broke out between a group of youngsters, and the poor victim was being bashed up. It wasn't long before the bashing stopped and they left in 3 cabs. After awhile, the police came. The fight took place near a stretch of parked vehicles lining the road. I don't know if the car nearest to the fight was damaged but it was supposed to be a very new car. Poor thing..

Went over to Wala Wala on Friday after class. It's crowded, and the live band there was good. Much better than the one on Tuesday. Tried Erdinger for the first time. It tasted way much better than any other beer that i've tried so far... definitely my new love.
I don't know what the order was but it's one-for-one. Therefore, when i arrived, i saw the paper that says: 3 jugs(of i don't know what), 8 red wine, 6 white wine, 4 Erdinger. Besides, there's already a jug of beer on the table!
Thankfully we managed to cancel 2 jugs, 4 red wines and i cannot recall how many white wines. The aftermath of finishing most of the drinks was this...
Friend: Sarah (referring to me) are you going to MoS with us?
Me: *look at the others and laugh* Yes..
After a while,
Friend: So Michelle, are you going to MoS with us?
Me: I've told you my answer just now..
My first time at MOS on a friday night. It's so crowded despite arriving there at almost 2am. Maybe i'm certified a thorough non-clubber. I cannot dance to save my life at all. Whether there's crowd or not, I cannot dance. I think i'm too self-conscious of myself. But we left in awhile and i Saw Jiahui on my way out and gave her my remaining drink coupons. I think bars/pubs would suit me fine.

I cannot recall when my quest for cheap deals/ bargains started. It could probably start way back in Sept last year when i was in Vietnam. Overseas and knowing that I'm quite a "wealthy" person with many notes in my wallet that contain many "0"s, such as 10 000, 100 000 and so on and so forth. However, i think we didn't have much time to shop except for that little amount of time we have each night in Ho Chih Minh to go to the nearby "night market" that opens after Ben Thanh Market closes for the day. While we do have a so called curfew, some of us didn't abide by it and got "confined" for a short period of time the next night to have a short talk with the teachers in charge individually. There's always alcohol being consumed almost every night in Vietnam. First to go was the alcohols that the guys bought at DFS when we departed from Singapore. They were consumed within two/three days in Hanoi. Followed by the cheap beer in HCM. This is what happened on our last night in Vietnam. We went to the pho shop opposite our hotel and bought all the Heineken that they had in stock, and some tiger beer.
When i got back and things resumed as usual. Back to school and stuff and with the wink of an eye, I've graduated. The Vietnam peeps organised another "IBSM-Bangkok" trip this time round. It was there where i've found really cheap deals but somehow at the back of my mind i still thought some of the stuff are expensive! This is the damange when i'm in bangkok...
This has somehow led me to feel that shopping in Singapore is so expensive as i can get what they are retailing here, overseas at a much better rate. I've got to also realise, I need to wake up from my dream because I'm LIVING in SINGAPORE. Nono, i still love my country.

Back after a series of events that occurred. 1. I went and came back from Taiwan. It's been a long time since my family went on a trip and its a rather good time spent together i would say. More pics would be up when i've the motivation to post them up. 2. Bridging course started and initially i was rather excited about studying because studying is so much better than working. The excitement is somewhat dwindling. =PSo now, all i do is attend night classes and nothing much. Hence the reason why i'm turning nocturnal that i have some problem falling asleep at night.
