@ 11:59 PM
The eRev was yesterday and I was scheduled at 8am. I was expecting some technical problems to arise so I woke up at 8.30 when I can log in, like finally. Having just woke up, I'm still in a very sleepy mode and thus when I saw the schedule my first reaction was just one word. Wow.
I didn't know where to start from and is practically lost and, probably have got no idea how to choose. At the end of the day, I fitted my time tables nicely and choosing similar slots with Karen when I can, especially for FI. If I were to attend it alone, I think I might give it a miss. Some classes were full by the time I'm done with my selections and gotta re-choose again! This time, I was in a hurry as I was afraid that the classes might be full by the time I'm done. Hence, I made a wrong selection when I could have gotten a better timing. Sigh .. I don't wish to talk about it anymore!
Remember initially I wanted to book a chalet for my 21st with Jun Xiang? Well there were some problems along the way and I don't feel like opening a chalet anymore and just make do with dinners with different groups of friends on different days, at a nicer place of my choice - hopefully. I hope to be able to book / dine at OneRochester but i'm still waiting for them to get back to me with the quotations!
My decision to do away with the chalet was finalized when I selected
Corporate Finance UOL (full day) revision class on the 28th and 29th March; Saturday and Sunday respectively. It was the only time slot for CF available anyway. My revision classes starts on the 20th March and extends all the way till 28th April. My first paper is on 7th May. Oh and I found out that I've got a few similar classes as Ming Long too, and probably some of the rest of the year 2s. (: (: At least I've got company for some classes like Macro Local revision class. yippeees.
And boy, my studying progress is definitely at a pace of a snail, or probably even slower. I don't pin much hopes on the prelims but I'm still glad that I made the effort to study the horrendous and scary Macroeconomics. I took like 2 study sessions just to understand the first two chapters. :( That's really bad! I'm going to study tmr and hopefully will be fruitful!
This entry's getting longer but before I end, just let me whine about my Ms Excel. I was doing some tabulations just now and it keeps on hanging! I hope it doesn't die on me else .... I've got no idea what to do except to fall back on my old acer with 97 Ms Excel. hurhur! Oh please Ms Excel, I need you. I really do.
Ah, I'm off to bed already! I'm going to study in school tmr. (: (:
